BRIAN KENNEDY

For more than 20 years I have coached competitive soccer in Alabama, Indiana and here in Texas. My focus has always been player development. To me, soccer players are artists. Encouraging players to open their minds and be creative allows them to enjoy the game and develop at a faster pace. My coaching philosophy is teaching players to use their individual skills in combination with a possession to attack style of play. Every player on the team impacts the game. It’s important to create a positive environment where players develop their technical and tactical skills to help them advance within the sport.
As a coach, it is important to be a leader and mentor to my players. I have one golden rule... “Be a gentleman on the field and off the field.”
