A native of England, Jay has coached in the US since 2006. Prior to arriving in America, Jay worked at two former EPL youth academies in the U.K and has obtained his UEFA B and USSF B qualifications.
In 2006, he was the Director of Youth Programs at Seacoast United Maine, responsible for all U7 to U11 programming and curriculum. Alongside this role, he coached the U18 boys to a state cup win and to a number 2 ranking in the nation.
Jay moved to Dallas in 2010 and joined Andromeda SC, and later Andromeda FC, working solely in their Development Academy program. He had experience coaching throughout all the club’s Academy age groups, from U13 to U18 during his time there.
In 2014, Jay joined FC Dallas youth and worked closely with their Academy helping young players reach their full potential. He was most recently the lead developmental coach for the U13,U14 and U15 age groups, and enjoyed success by graduating many players into the FCD MLS academy system, as well as experiencing success on the field with multiple state cups, and a U14 Regionals title. He has taken groups to national league events, Dallas cups and most recently coached 3 groups in the ECNL program in the Texas conference.

I also feel we need to give children a stronger technical foundation so they can gain a lot more confidence when playing this wonderful game of soccer. I feel that my role is to put the needs of the person first, to help the individual above anything else.”
