Katie grew up in Michigan and played soccer since she was young. Her playing career took her to Loyola University in Chicago where she played on their team and majored in Psychology. After her time at Loyola, she attended graduate school at Miami University (OH) where she earned her masters in Sports Psychology and was the assistant coach for their women’s program. She also earned her National D Coaching License during that time. After graduation, she moved to Texas and began her new career as a psychology teacher and soccer coach at Highland Park. She was the Assistant Varsity Coach at Highland Park for 9 years and has been coaching her daughter’s team for the last 3 years. She is located out in the Lake Highlands area and is always looking for new players.
