MIKE FLETCHER

Mike relocated from Illinois to Texas in 2018 and has over 20 years of youth coaching experience from ages 8 through high school. Mike holds his USSF ‘D’ coaching license and has previously served as the Director of the Youth Academy (U8 and U9) for the Illinois Fusion Soccer Club, as well as various coaching assignments across boys and girls teams, U10 through U16. He also served as the inaugural President of the Board for the club which was founded in 2007.Mike’s playing career includes 4 years as Goalkeeper at Illinois College, in Jacksonville, Illinois, where he was a two time all-conference goalkeeper and four year starter.Mike’s passion and drive for coaching comes from his ability to connect with players both on and off the field, and to motivate them to have a lifelong love for the sport!
