Seb is a Swedish native who moved to Dallas with his wife and young son in October 2020.
His passion for leadership and soccer made him change his path in life towards coaching about 4 years ago. In Sweden, he was the head coach for a U15 academy team for the last 3 years.
He holds a UEFA B license and a Youth A license from the Swedish FA(SvFF).
Other soccer educations include an injury prevention exam from SvFF and an expert license in Tactical Periodization from ESDDRM in Portugal.
"I believe in creating a learning environment where the players feel safe to explore, try, fail and be themselves."
"As a coach and person, I'm an incurable optimist. I believe in people, I believe that we can achieve whatever we put our minds to, IF!! you're passionate about it."
Seb loves putting up goals and working hard to achieve them. Most recently he trained and finished the Ironman in Tulsa. The next goal is to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
"As a leader, I believe in leading by example. That's why challenging myself and putting up big goals is a part of who I am. I want to be a little bit better every day and have exciting short-term and long-term goals ahead of me."
In the future, Seb wants to be the best coach he can be and would like to play a big role in changing the landscape of how we educate and coach our players here in Texas.
"If you believe in yourself and are willing to put in the work, then never let anyone else tell you what you can and can't achieve."
