Derrick Krone, born in Dallas Texas. His youth career began at the age of 4, playing recreational league all
throughout the dallas metroplex. He then made the transition to club football through catching the eye
of a club coach affiliated with CD Independencia. He then continued his growth by playing for two major
clubs, Texans and FC Dallas. After a strong youth career, Derrick then went on to play college soccer for
Tyler Junior College and Richland College. In 2016, Derrick was blessed with the opportunity to play semi
professionally in the National Premier Soccer League for Dallas City FC and Tyler FC. After an
award-winning season, he then went on tour in Spain. Inspired to take his game to the next level yet
again, Derrick attended many trials and combines. With this new inspiration, passion, and persistence he
was then again blessed with getting his first professional contract in Queensland, Australia. There he
played for Murwillumbah FC and Burleigh FC of the Gold Coast Premier League (3rd tier). After two
successful seasons, he was signed to Gold Coast United of the National Premier League(2nd tier).
Through all of the playing Derrick was also able to take on a successful coaching role becoming the
Technical Director of the Mount Tamborine Eagles Soccer Club. Australia was, he quotes “the best
experience of my life”. Unfortunately his time in Australia ran short due to his Visa expiring. He then
returned to Dallas where he was signed to the Texas Spurs of the United Premier Soccer League to play
full back and coach. Derrick is currently playing in the UPSL(United Premier Soccer League) with Foro
Sports Club. Since signing with Foro, Derrick has achieved Conference and Regional Championship. Foro
is currently on the road to nationals, where they hold one of the final four positions in the National
Tournament. The starting full-back is blessed and humbled by the experience. Derrick has a huge passion
for this sport we call Football and wants nothing more than to share and give the youth the same
positive experiences he has been so blessed to encounter.
