Born in Cali, Colombia, I learned about soccer early in life. I grew up playing in the street and when I was old enough started playing organized soccer in the local leagues here in Dallas. I grew up in Irving, TX, and played since I was 8 playing rec, select, and club. I played for 4 years in high school, and in my final year of eligibility, I played for the Dallas Comets in the Boys Classic League. I continued to play in college, playing for a year at Stonybrook University in New York, before transferring to Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, TX. I started coaching my kids at the rec level, and really enjoyed getting to pass on what I had learned and the great memories playing soccer had brought me. As my daughter grew, I became more involved and was asked to assist, and sometimes coach her academy teams. I began learning and taking some basic coaching clinics to teach me how to translate what I knew about the game to these young players. In 2017/2018 I assisted Liverpool Academy teams at the 08 and 09 age groups, and after moving to Sting and becoming a staff coach, I assisted in training and coaching the 2009, 2006, and 2005 ECNL-RL teams. I currently have my own team of 2012 Girls that I am developing and taking into Classic qualifying for the upcoming year.
